So my first Oscar Sunday movie this year I wanted to start with Wings (the very first movie to win an Oscar). That movie was hard to get at the moment. So I went this 1932 Oscar Winner. Didn't know what to expect at all. I like the first 20 minutes of this. It seemed like a big play. The next hour was so and so. I lost interest in it. I fell asleep for like 10 minutes. The last part was pretty good. I thought the murder (in self defence, kind of) was rushed a bit. This is a movie from the 30's after all. Excellent shots. Cool strange characters. That's about it. Definitely not a movie I would like to see over and over.
