Django Unchained Countdown
#1:
Joshua IMDb
We made it to the last movie of the countdown.  This revenge western was also shown as a double feature with Django Unchained at the New Beverly Cinema in L.A.  It has Fred Williamson in it.  Enough said.  This was pretty simple.  Simple story told in a simple way.  A guy going after the men that killed his mother.  One by one he kills them.  That's the whole story.  I don't know why but this character and the characters from Boss Nigger and the Nigger Charley movies all remind me of Jamie Foxx's performance in Django Unchained.  Maybe Foxx got inspired by Fred Williamson.  Don't know.  This movie was short.  It had some decent stuff like the explosive scene in the end.  Other than that, some of it was dull.   This countdown has been a great experience.  My favorite movies that resemble Django Unchained a lot were: Boss Nigger, Mandingo, and Skin Game.  The others were okay to cool like Angel Unchained (I wouldn't mind checking that one out again).  Now ready to see Django Unchained this Monday with an inspired dish and white cake.
