The Fighter
Well done, sir, well done.
When we first see Bale onscreen as Dicky,
right away, I said to myself, "this guy did deserve his Oscar."
Crazy crackhead performance.
This story got me hooked.
My favorite moment:
When Dicky walks to his seat in prison
ready to watch the documentary.
That whole sequence of everyone watching
that doc was touching.
Good dialogue.
Like most boxing films, the last guy to fight
always have to be the asshole.
That's the only minor detail I didn't like.
But, everything else is top notch dramatic entertainment.
Would make a great triple feature with "Raging Bull" and
"Resurrecting the Champ."
