(Linda's Chick Flick Night was originally scheduled for next Saturday,
since we're going to be out of town, we moved it up until tonight.)
Going the Distance
To be quite honest,
this is one of the best chick flicks I've seen this year.
A little cheesy, a little too easy, but a little entertaining.
I think because we see both sides.
We see the girl side and the guy side.
It felt rushed in the first 30 minutes.
Didn't think Barrymore and Justin Long had
good chemistry together, but oh well.
The character, Dan (played by Charlie Day), was my favorite.
He stole the scene every time he appeared on screen.
That rhymes!
If you're going to watch this, I recommend a round of beers
and chicken wings. Hit the spot.
