Went on a brunch date with Carol this Christmas morning. It has Oscar buzz all over it and it pretty much has a big chance on winning. Beautiful shots, wonderful performances. The story isn't really for me though. Sometimes I go in waiting for a treat to blow me away. This movie was awesome to look at and the flow was good but I didn't really connect with it. Of all the big Oscar buzz movies, I would rather see Spotlight win.
