Crude

Documentary Night Presents:

Crude
Love me a decent David vs. Goliath kind of story.
We have a big group of Ecuadoreans who live
in the Amazon polluted with oil caused by
Texaco a.k.a Chevron.
This is their story against the big dogs.
It gives hope and it's pretty much straight forward.
It tends to drag on about halfway through.
Could of been a little shorter, in my opinion.
But, amazing story.

The reason I saw this documentary tonight was
because of all the crazy stuff that went on
with the BP oil spill in the last few months.
The difference is, these people in Ecuador drink
and bathe in their oily water, and they been
doing so for decades.
Another sad but true documentary.
