I heard this was the least favorite from the Star Trek movies. After watching it, I now know why. The story was okay but a lot of scenes were a bit bland and cheesy for this kind of a movie. I didn't feel the closeness of these characters like I did with the other movies. The "villain" here wasn't much of a threatening villain. Having said all that, I do like some of the cheesy moments like the camping scene. I mean, I never thought I would see some of the Star Trek crew roasting marshmallows and singing "Row, row your boat." This movie is not a must buy unless you're collecting all the other movies.
