Powerful holocaust movie from Hungary. Heard big buzz about this after receiving a big prize at Cannes. Oscar type movie which is rare for a movie that plays at Fantastic Fest. Now, I'm a big fan of holocaust and World War 2 movies. So I've seen my share of it and most of them make you feel the same. This one was no different. Different story but with the same feeling and tragedy that comes from these movies. Here, we follow Saul the whole way through. A lot of long shots. Lot of cold blooded moments as one should expect. Overall, I liked it but not among the best among other holocaust movies. Good drama though. A rare Fantastic Fest type movie.
