For those of you that have seen Django Unchained, you remember the part where Leonardo DiCaprio's character and his gang and our main characters are on the road to his plantation (Candyland)? Well, when they arrive, the song that plays at that moment is taken from this movie right here. We hear snippets of the song here but it is until the end of the movie when we hear the whole entire song. This was an okay war movie with Nick Nolte and Gene Hackman. Reminded me a lot of Oliver Stone's Salvador. This one is less hardcore but still brutal when it comes to war. We got a crazy young Ed Harris here as well. The movie was a little over than 2 hours long but it had a decent flow. Basic story about rebels versus the government and a photographer in love covering all of it. If it sounds good to you, worth checking out. If not, I wouldn't bother. Just one more movie in this countdown!!
