This wasn't good. I mean, visually, it was great, but, it lacked in substance. I saw L.A. Confidential earlier today and part of The Untouchables just to warm me up for this one. As a fan of the gangster genre, I wanted to like this a lot. Just the whole thing didn't quite grab me. I like some bits and pieces like good guys versus bad guys stuff, innocent people getting killed, gangster torture scenes. My favorite character has to be Officer Keeler played by Giovanni Ribisi. This was all about the digital shoot out scenes and effects. Not really for the story.
