My first Hitchcock Thursday is one of his earlier works. Saw this one with my friend Casey. The Lady Vanishes is a pretty nice simple woman gone missing mystery. Majority of it takes place in a train. For its time, this was pretty good. It had a nonsense kind of ending but some of the build up was good. Lots of bizarre characters. Some clever twists. Not bad for the first Hitchcock Thursday.
Since I saw one of his very early films, I'm going to go with one that was released later next. I'll probably do that from now on. Meaning, the next Hitchcock film will be one that was made later than the previous one, and so on. Eleven more to go.
